Mariah and I grew up together….our moms have always been close friends, so I have actually known her since she was born (I’m 6 months older). A few weeks ago, her mom texted me to tell me that she was getting engaged and wondered if I would be able to capture it…so naturally I said yes! Bob planned to propose at the Chenocetah Tower (Tower Mountain) in Cornelia, so we went up there and scouted out a place to hide. I ended up laying flat on the ground in a pile of leaves/twigs so that Mariah wouldn’t see me as she approached the tower and figure out what was happening…and it was a success! Being a proposal photographer is such a cool thing – there is so much emotion in that quick moment when a man drops down on one knee. Not much else like it!! Here’s a few from this sweet proposal (and the impromptu engagement session that followed it). Congrats Mariah and Bob!! So glad I got to be there!
I had to sneak a quick pic in too…especially since we had on matching sweaters 🙂
